Welcome to the Colorado Society for Public Health Education
The Colorado Society for Public Health Education has been a chapter of the national Society for Public Health Education since 1999. COSOPHE is a voluntary organization made up of 130 professional health educators and students who live in Colorado. Our services & programs are designed to enhance skills and improve knowledge as well as promote career development and networking.
Mission:
COSOPHE is committed to excellence in health education by providing leadership to the profession, advancing health education, and advocating for public health policies.
Goals:
- To provide programs to increase member knowledge & skills
- To identify and influence priority health issues & policies
- To promote the profession of public health by increasing visibility & enhancing credibility
- To establish COSOPHE as a leading professional health education organization
- To disseminate timely public health information
COSOPHE is 1 of 10 organizations participating in The Public Health Alliance of Colorado. The office is a groundbreaking collaboration to join forces to strengthen public health in Colorado.
